CTDR Foster Application

A home visit is required for foster homes. Our foster approval process is similar to our adoption approval process, so check our GUIDELINES and ADOPTION PROCESS pages to see what will be required. There is no adoption fee required for fostering, but we do have a CTDR membership fee of $20.00 per year.

If you are a potential pet owner who does not have a vet, you may fill in the vet name, address and phone number with n/a and any numbers in the phone field. However, we strongly encourage you to research local vets and choose one before you bring a dog home. Making these fields required cuts down on our application processing time.
